Contract Engineer

Main Requirements: 

•             Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

•             Minimum work experience of 2 years

•             High interest in construction contracts management and working for a top contractor and investor

•             Previous contracts management work experience is a plus

•             Good knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Word and Excel

•             High proficiency in English

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•   The candidate’s main role will be managing the contractual matters in relation to a Plant Project and he/ she will review and analyse various types of construction contracts and coordinate required actions with legal consultants.

•   As part of the required actions, the candidate will draft letters to subcontractors or other parties in coordination with the local team, the HQ and external consultants as may be required.

•  The candidate should be detail oriented, devise look-ahead plans, and pursue any necessary outcomes upon taking the initial action.

• The candidate should be able to work in multiple work streams when required.

•  The candidate should understand and evaluate the matters technically, commercially and contractually, and should be able to carry out relevant assessments considering requirements of the project.

•  The candidate will prepare necessary reports and meeting minutes both for internal and external reporting purposes as may be necessary.

• The candidate will support business development activities of the company.

• The candidate will hold organized and good records both in hardcopy and softcopy, keeping logs up to date.
