Job Description: Saran Group is looking for an in-house legal counsel to provide legal advice and consultancy for all operations and business of the group in their vast variety of business fields ranging from trade of intellectual property rights of audio-visual content such as sports events or movies and series, as well as production, digital transmission, radio broadcasting, advertising, online legal betting, defence, IT etc. Successful candidate will join the legal department and will play an important role on a wide range of deals and transactions as well as various business, legal and operation issues impacting the businesses of the group companies. In-house legal counsel will be responsible to prevent legal obstacles or disputes that might have financial or criminal effects during the course of business, as well as to provide legal advice for the disputes arising in corporate, contractual, operational and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a reputable law faculty with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in legal consultancy and experience in intellectual property law, commercial law, law of obligations, radio and television law (RTÜK) and labour law fields. Deep knowledge of personal data protection law (KVKK) and corporate law will be an important asset. 
• Master’s degree in USA or UK is a plus. 
• Experience in contract reviews and negotiation, desirably in an international environment and contract law background.
• Excellent command of Turkish and English both writing and speaking. Understanding/ability to draft contracts and negotiate in both languages. Candidates will be asked to complete a brief legal language quiz.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the legal team.
• Ability to assess risks and respond to challenging situations in a timely manner, result-oriented approach in order to facilitate fast business decisions.
• Ability to equilibrate priorities and organize work effectively to meet deadlines.
• Admitted to Turkish Bar Association.
• Male candidates should have completed the military service requirement.
• No restriction for travelling.
