Lean Manufacturing Engineer

In order to strenghten Motherson Excellent System department of our plant in Gölcük / Kocaeli, we are immediately looking for a MSES & Productivity Engineer with;

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical preferred)

• Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in implementation of operational improvement within the manufacturing environment,

• Fluent English language knowledge: written and spoken

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially excel and powerpoint)

• Ability to analyze and improve complex processes   

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement  and Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen,Poka Yoke,5S,Fishbone,VSM /MIFD, line balance etc.)

• No restriction for travelling (B Class driving license is required)

• Living/willing to live in Kocaeli 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support the implementation of MSES improvement tools for production reliability, change over Standards (flexibility), reduction of Line stoppages , Line balancing, and overall MOD efficiency

• Preparing Kaizen events and suggestion systems, monitors the results of the action plans, and writes or modifies standards to register changes to the processes,

• Taking an active role in improvement activities in production & logistic areas

• Contribute to deploy MSES (Motherson Excellence System ) culture at Supervisors & GAP Leader level

• Participle to MSES Principles in Programs from design stage (lean process design,MIFD, validation of Equipment design, workshop activities, Standardized Work ,OHP, process layout, line balance etc..).  

• Line balancing according to time and methods studies Evaluation of operator proposals and implement together with operators Material flow analysis Provide operator involvement with team meetings & workshops

• Support saving projects and lead productivity workshops

• Following-up daily/weekly/monthly/yearly KPI's and take actions to achieve targets

• Drive the Improvement  Idea Management System at plant level

• Providing Documentation for business processes, memorandum and procedures and keeping then up-to-date

• Coordinate strategic corporate projects such as Industry 4.0 at plant level
