Project Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Project Mechanical Design Engineer in our fast-changing & dynamic organization.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineer
• At least 3-4 years experience in related work (Preferably in LV/MV equipment design & manufacturing will be an asset)
• Capable of using CAD software (Preferably Pro engineer and AutoCAD)
• Good command of written and spoken English Language (the French language is an asset)
• Customer focus and set up customer satisfaction as a priority with a pro-active approach
• Collaborate with different disciplines and departments
• Suitable to work with many projects at the same time, multitasking
• Having a sense of detail and being able to take initiative and responsibility
• Self-motivated and challenge the business with high energy

Description

• Making the mechanical design of Low/ Medium Voltage Switchgear using the necessary tools and programs (Pro-engineer, AutoCAD, SAP)
• Preparing documentation for design output such as material list (BOM), assembly, and part drawings
• Managing non-standard local adaptations and feasibility process
• Creating technical solutions for customer needs with optimum costs within performances by considering the company's benefit
• Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions
• Giving support for the best-optimized project at tendering and design stage
• Supporting R&D projects
