We are looking for support within our Supply Chain Team at our production site in Çerkezköy as Material Planning and Purchasing Generalist

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration
• Fluent in English
• Excellent command of MS Office programs
• Proficiency in SAP MM module
• Experience in glass, automotive or white goods industry is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning and purchasing
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Residence or willing to reside in Çerkezköy or Çorlu
• Valid drivers license is a must
  
• No domestic or international travel restrictions

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure all requirements are supplied in a timely manner by securing the quality and cost
• Search for new suppliers and evaluate relevant prices
• Participate in the process of supplier evaluation, management and improvement
• Prepare monthly kpi reports and follow related corrective actions
• Manage optimum material planning 
• Optimize purchasing according to stock aim
• Sustain optimum stock level for materials
• Managing tender bids in indirect goods
• Take active role in SCHOTT global projects
