QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Event Manager,

We are hiring a senior event manager for our leading event company. He/she willbe responsible for planning, organizing,managing and coordinatingvarious typesof events. He/Shewill be the liaison with clients and suppliers, will manageall logisticsof the events including budgets, invoicing, and risks.

 Duties and Accountabilities

• Developing event concepts and working with team members to prepare the proposals, capability statements, presentations, and other marketingmaterials.
• Sourcing suppliers and negotiating quotes and agreements withvendors
• Handling all logistics related to events, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes andbudgets.
• Responsible for the whole Business Development process including prospecting, planning, arranging meetings with clients, organizing, and attending networking events,finding new opportunities and managingtenders.
• Identifying growth opportunities for company,
• Monitoring closely the event management market developments and providing periodic reports andfeedback
• Develop annual business plan for various marketing activities.

Job Requirements

• BA/BS degree in hospitality, communication, Public Relations, business administration, or related field isrequired.
• 8-10 years experience in event management.
• Project management experience with ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in English language is must, with either Turkish or Arabicnationality.
• Able to engage, to build relations and to manage tasksindependently.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
