Mine Technical Superintendent

We are joint venture mining company which has several sites around the country. We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated Mine Technical Superintendent who reports to Project Manager. 

• University degree, Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in mining (underground metalliferous operations).
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams spanning Geotechnical, Geology, Survey, Ventilation and Mine Planning functions.
• Advanced mine planning and scheduling skills, with high level of competency in using relevant mine planning, optimization, and mine production control software. 
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal. 
• Valid driver’s license.
• Work locations, Ankara and Artvin.

İŞ TANIMI

• Design and develop processes, practices and methodologies in Mining Engineering. Lead the execution of the strategy and ensure alignment with the organization’s long-term strategy. Initiate and undertake projects to optimize performance within engineering and to ensure adherence to best engineering practices and organizational safety, health and environmental standards.
• Oversee Mining Engineering activities and to ensure design and / or operating standards are met (internally and / or externally) with a focus on short, medium and long term mine planning.
• Actively participating within a team of mining professionals in providing engineering and technical services to perform feasibility studies and support construction and production activities.
• Review across multiple mining operations to seek out opportunities for optimization and further improvement, develop and analyze options to increase NPV. 
• Establish/Manage technical services department; geotechnical, survey, mine planning, geology, grade control.
• Actively contribute to a Zero Incident culture, ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Participate in development of RFP’s and tendering processes for mining related contracts and issue progress payments.
• Review and deliver timely and accurate capital and operating budgets, regular forecasts and accruals.
