SENIOR PURCHASING SPECIALIST

Position Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a successful and fast growing fragrance company.

As a Senior Purchasing Specialist your role is to manage a portfolio of suppliers with Compliance & Ethics standards.

MAIN TASKS :

• Plan local and international sourcing activities of the responsible portfolio,according to the company policies.
• Build strategic supplier relationships in full accordance with ethical principles and policies
• Lead a portfolio of suppliers to ensure their successful delivery in terms of punctuality, lead-times and quality.
• To follow the tenders opened for the business areas within the company portfolio.
• Drive negotiations with suppliers focusing on quality, service delivery, operational improvements and costs
• Provide latest supply coverage, price and savings estimates to contribute the best offers to the company.
• Manage import licenses and end use certificates for concerned raw materials.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure the proper supply chain process
• Develop a strong knowledge of the sourcing materials market to report frequently to the top management.

FORMATION / EDUCATION LEVEL: 
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum 7 years experience in procurement of chemicals and/or fragrance/aroma chemicals.
• Experience in chemicals, fragrance & flavors and /or FMCG companies are a plus.
• Solid purchasing know-how on strategic sourcing
• Good communication skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
