QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description 

  • Supervise a comprehensive training, education and development program by formulating policies, regulations, and practices.
  • Consult with department heads to coordinate the various phases of the policies, practices and regulations.
  • Support, coach and develop team coaches.
  • Maintain excellent communication with head of departments through regular meetings, mutual training sessions, to ensure adherence to standards, overall service quality and implementation of training programs.
  • Direct and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of the annual training business plan to aid efficiency and practicability.
  • Give guidance on career and succession planning as appropriate, assuring that attrition is minimized and Company promotion/transfer maximized.
  • Assist in the co-ordination of transfers and promotions within the company addressing any training and development needs identified so that employees in new positions are prepared for their new responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain contact with external education and development providers, regional and international hotel and business schools, colleagues in competing hotels and other related industries to be able to provide the company with the best available resources.
  • Invest time in self-development and keep up-to-date with new technology and training systems and philosophies, making appropriate recommendations for changes.


General Qualifications

  • A solid background of learning and development experience especially at international chain hotels.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of human resources policy & procedures and business practices.
  • Good command of English, Russian is a plus.
  • Able to organize and conduct training programmes and well developed organisational skills.
  • Willing to develop his/her career in human resources field and career oriented.
  • Able to maintain strong relationships with guests, team members and third parties outside of the property.
  • Computer literacy, MS Office applications.
