QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking forward to receiving the applications of Chemistry Teachers who want to work with us for the 2023 - 24 academic year.

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in the related field,
• A valid teaching certification in chemistry,
• Five + years of experience at a high school level (IB experience is preferable),
• Candidates with a good level of English (IELTS score 6,5 or above is a plus),
• The ability to collaborate and adapt as well as model learning for colleagues and students,
• Proven experience at developing and maintaining meaningful extra/co-curricular activities.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate technology, ESL teaching strategies, and research-based, formative/summative assessment into the learning environment/experience,
• Collaborative personality and the ability to model learning for colleagues and students,
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description

• Plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential,
• Create a learning environment,
• Aid the department in vertical alignment to help develop programs that better prepare students,
• Model learner profile attributes and facilitate student growth,
• Perform certain pastoral duties including but not limited to student support, counseling, academic support, and providing student encouragement.
