GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) to take part in a Large-Scale Investment Project to be carried out by one of our Customers in accordance with the job description below. Having at least 8 years of experience in large-scale food factories (milk, juice, etc.) is preferred.

 Position Purpose: This position is a team member of Engineering team and main purpose is being responsible for base/non-base CAPEX projects engineering and execution activities. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Design & Preperation

·      Leading project from conceptual design to commissioning and start up

·      Participates in basic and detailed Engineering activities as a team member and team leader(layout, P&IDs, functional describtion, process design, PDRI, project schedule)

·      Preparing P&ID’s, project investment form and related Project documentation

·      Preparing technical specifications (material, equipment, entire systems) and ask for inputs from related parties i.e., project team, MTL, production, maintenance, automation, quality, EH&S, etc.

·      Negotiate with suppliers on technical issues, asks for bids

·      Prepares feasibility studies.

Project Leadership

·      Leads periodic project reviews by using PDP process

·      Identifies, recommends and implements project management best practices

·      Champions and reinforces Company’s behavioral based safety process and zero fatalities throughout every phase of projects

·      Ensures projects are planned and executed in compliance with laws and regulations

 Project Planning

·      Defines technical project objectives

·      Leads development of the project scope 

·      Prepares the plan for how the project is executed, monitored, and controlled

Project Execution

·      Leads the execution, coordinates, and assists construction activities and contractors (project execution, field work of contructors, commissioning and start up)

·      Ensures application of Engineering, Safety best practices and regulations

 Project Control

·      Regularly control and monitors project progress on budget and time schedule to identify variances from the committed plan and make needed corrections.

·      Identifies and resolves technical issues within project engineering studies and execution side.
