Shaya, which operates with a corporate culture that rewards "Think Big," "Act Small," and "Be You", is currently looking for a "Import Supervisor" to join its "Supply Chain & Procurement" department.

 Qualifications:

• University degree from a reputable university-food engineer is a plus.
• Have at least 5 years of import operations experience in food,contact with food,shop fittings, accessory etc.
• Analytical and result oriented approach.
• Ability to work at a fast paced environment.
• High degree of problem-solving ability.
• High degree of cross functional project management process.
• Fluency in English, both written & spoken.

Job Description:

• Managing foreign transportation processes between the third party firms and related departments until delivery up to warehouse and the shops.
• Managing import processes via customs consultancy firms.
• Sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with freight forwarder, logistic provider & importer to constantly strive for the most competitive price and good service level.
• Monitoring the performance and KPI management.
• Complete knowledge of import transaction, stock control and management, 3PL companies such as vendors, warehouses, forwarders.
• Complete knowledge of all documentation & procedure required during importation.
• Regulatory & legislation know how in terms of customs operations.
• Managing the performance of international vendors and maintaining relationships between customs brokers & bounded warehouses.
