QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Native Turkish, very fluent English are required. Third language would be an asset
  • Successful in time management
  • Excellent organisational/administrative skills with office management experience

  • Ability to multi-task & work under pressure with limited resources

  • Strong writing skills with excellent spelling & grammar
  • Excellent computer skills - sound knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, internet & intranet systems

  • Previous experience in 5* International hotel, travel & tourism, service sector preferred

İŞ TANIMI

  • Provides direction and support to the Events Manager and Reservations Manager, ensuring that all revenue and profitability targets are achieved, in line with the European core standards.
  • Conducts six monthly performance appraisals for all direct reports, ensuring that pre-agreed objectives are achieved.  Where required, identify appropriate development actions.
  • Working with the GM, set annual revenue targets all direct sales people, ensuring that they are clear on their revenue target and have a planned strategy to achieve their goals.
  • Proactively manages a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives.  Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is executed in a timely manner.
  • To take responsibility for understanding the Sales plan of the Hotel and the required budgetary guidelines of the Hotels, to enable empowered decisions in all rate negotiations.
  • To take responsibility for the compilation and execution of quarterly sales action plans.  
  • To arrange and manage familiarisation trips and educationals in line with business needs.
  • To based on market segmentation and budget and to develop ongoing relationships with customers
  • To establish account qualifications criteria and use market research to identify priority markets and accounts; assign sales to assure coverage of all major markets
  • Monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve planned goals
