We are a multinational production company in Packaging Industry located in Istanbul-Tuzla. We are looking for'Accounting and Tax Specialist ' who will report to Head of Finance Turkey,

Skills & Abilities

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent from a reputable university
  
• Fluency in both written and verbal English
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in General Accounting and Taxation in a multinational or manufacturing environment
  
• Very good knowledge of Uniform Chart of Account and Tax Legislation
  
• Full knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  
• Experience in SAP
  
• A high potential with proven analytical aptitude, critical thinking and strong perceptive skills
  
• Results focused and strong attention to detail, attentive to deadlines
  
• Good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible and hard worker
  
• Able to work in a complex and fast paced environment
  
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
  
• No military obligation for male candidates

Responsibilities

• Responsible for tax matters including cooperate income tax, VAT, indirect taxes and special consumption (excise) tax
  
• Following day to day accounting activities
  
• Performing month end / quarter end / year end closing activities
  
• Performing reconciliations with third parties
  
• Perform daily invoicing and follow up e-invoicing process.
  
• Recording incoming invoices in the SAP system.
  
• Input general ledger entries within SAP
  
• Review ledgers, statements and balance sheets for accuracy
  
• Take responsibility for internal and external audits
  
• Preparation of all required legal reporting and accounting issues
