QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

What are my responsibilities?
- Software development activities for industrial automation projects, including design, implementation, documentation and testing
- Software design, implementation, unit tests, integration tests and release tasks in a multi-site, international software development environment
- Contribution to solutions architectures, requirements elicitation and development processes improvement
- Producing high quality project deliverables within planned time and effort
- Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related areas
- Proven 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Experience in backend development (J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot)
- Experience with API / RESTful data services, microservices, serverless architecture
- Experience with NoSQL and Relation Databases
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Having agile mindset and experience in the mechanisms of software development including source control, repositories, Wikis, continuous integration
- Experience in cloud platform AWS eco-system is a plus
- Good command of English
What else do I need to know?
- Military service should have completed or deferred at least 3 years for male candidates
- No restriction for travelling abroad
