Siemens Gebze factory is the lead factory for Air Insulated Switchgear production in Siemens World and exporting to more than 80 countries worldwide! We are searching for a “Front-End Developer” for our Gebze AIS Lead Factory who will join an exciting team and develop special solutions for a large manufacturing network about 30 factories in the world. A superb opportunity to experiment the harmony of code and real life!

What are my responsibilities?

• Understanding business needs, trying to develop the best solution including design, implementation and testing,
• Active contribution to solve complex business problems, requirements elicitation and development processes improvement,
• Implementation of change requests on existing systems,
• Co-creating solutions with partners from different factories, sharing best practices,
• Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer engineering, computer science or related field,

Strong Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery,

3+ years experience in software development projects,

Familiarity with cross-platform and responsive design,

Experience with user experience and user interface design principles,

Proficiency with front end technologies (UI Frameworks(React, Vue.js, Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Foundation or similar)) (at least one),

Very good command of English.

Reasons for preference:

• Having Portfolio on GitHub or similar platform,
• Knowledge in database technologies,
• Using Adobe XD and Illustrator,
• Knowledge of server side languages,
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS),
• Knowledge in software life cycle and agile methodologies.
