QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

What are my responsibilities?

• Design, document, automate, implement, and maintain DevOps processes (build, release, cloud deployment, version control, branching, and merging etc.) for the Industrial Cloud Development project

• Improvement, operation, and maintenance of existing Continuous Integration ( CI/CD ) pipeline

• Operating and maintaining delivery processes in a multi-national, distributed software development environment

• Act as a local DevOps-Interface to global Siemens R&D Network

• Producing high quality project deliverables within planned time and effort

• Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• BSc., MSc. or PhD. in computer science or a related area

• Proven 2+ years of experience in Software Configuration Management and/or DevOps positions is a must

• Very good command of English

• Hands-on professional experience in scripting languages; Python, Bash

• Strong knowledge in software development, build, release, monitoring and code analysis tools; Gradle, GIT, SonarQube, IntelliJ, GitLab CI/CD

• Strong knowledge and proven experience in software configuration and continuous integration (CI) in cloud-based environments; AWS, Azure and/or other public cloud computing platforms.

• Experience on IaC, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker etc. is a must

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Experience in Agile Development is a plus
