What are my responsibilities?

• Design and develop innovative applications and customer-specific solutions by using Mendix Platform (www.mendix.com)
• Create working prototypes of target applications using Mendix Platform and related software technologies
• Work with partners and customers to create the highest quality and cost-effective solutions.
• Drive the software production process; own given features beginning to end, from mockups & design documents/reviews to acceptance testing and deployment.
• Test and validate the proof of concepts together with engineering teams and customers for the best optimal solutions and configurations
• Coach and guide junior/senior Developers to use Mendix Platform
• Be part of Software development activities including:
• Design, Coding, Testing and Integration
• Participating in review processes
• Taking part in the complete product life-cycle
• Produce high quality and innovative deliverables for our customers
• Conform to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• BSc., MSc. or PhD in Computer Science or in related areas
• Very good command of English
• Have solid experience working with the Mendix Platform as a developer and/or architect
• Have experience with forms, domain models, entities, microflows, transactions, non-persistent-entities, Mendix security concepts like XPath constraints and user roles
• Have experience in developing web-services and applications for diverse industries
• Proven skills and experience in one or more of following latest application development technologies; 
• Java Script, Angular, React, Node js, Node-RED, Express.js
• HTML5, CSS, JS, WS
• Java, Spring Boot, Python
• PostreSQL, Mongo DB, Maria DB
• Docker, Heroku, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes
• Mendix, MindShere, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
• Experience in designing and developing responsive UI applications for web and mobile platforms
• Experience in integrating back-end web services using REST APIs
• Passionate for simple, clean, re-usable and modular coding
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
