QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our Grid Software Business Unit, we are looking for a Power System Consultant who will be responsible for large-scale network simulations, analysis and protection coordination studies of power utilities and industries.

What are my responsibilities?

- Simulation and steady state analysis of electrical networks

- Carrying out protection coordination studies on large scale networks, determination of protection relay settings.

- Establish excellent customer relations and analyzes customer’s business requirements.

- Develops and apply methodologies to meet customer needs.

- Prepare the offers and join the negotiations with the customers.

- Delivery of on-site technical consulting/training services.

- Compliance with regulations and company policies.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Bachelor Degreee in Electrical Engineering, MSc. degree in Electrical Power System Engineering is an asset.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a power system consultant, completed at least 3 protection coordination studies on medium/large scale utility network.

- Practical experience in using advanced power system analysis tools. (PSS Sincal, etc.) Experience in CAPE software shall be an asset.

- Knowledge of transient stability studies shall be an asset

- Very good oral and written communication skills in English.

- Advance level of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel); programming skills is an asset.

- No restriction for travelling abroad.
