DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Unit Finance Manager to join our SI business unit. The Business Unit Finance Manager plays a hands-on role in enabling the business unit to achieve its objectives and will provide sound financial and commercial advice to the Business Unit head and Senior Leadership team.

What are the Responsibilities of the role?

• Locally adopts respective guidelines and procedures in the Country organization of the BU assigned based on superior financial policies.
• Governs the financial management of the assigned organization unit.
• Responsible for the financial management, accuracy and integrity of all financial records, reports and other finance related tasks.
• Ensure and monitor effective financial budgeting, forecasting and controlling activities.
• Support Business Unit head with Finance advice and contribute to overall business targets.
• Ensure compliant and, where possible standardized, contract management standards in all relevant business cases (supplier, customer, service providers).
• Manage end-to-end Business Administration operations and lead a team of Business Administration professionals.
• Defines and ensures implementation of corporate approved manufacturing policies for assigned organization unit.
• Ensures long-term planning of production resources, derives the respective business and investment plans for the related production site in all commercial aspects
• Drive productivity, continuous process improvements as well as cash conversion.
• Closely collaborate with other business areas to leverage synergies, where possible.

What do I need to qualify?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
• 10+ years of experience in business controlling or finance roles both in sales and in production function, ideally with experience in a management position with leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of IFRS Accounting and SAP ERP systems
• Expert know-how in Risk Management
• Experience in the development of business plans and business case assessments
• Advanced contracts management knowledge and negotiation skills
• Strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse international teams
