What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
* 1-3 years of experience in Sales and/or Business Development field, preferably in fire safety&security business
* To be interested in digital business models and digitalization approach
* Works with operations, finance, legal, other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.
* Continues to pursue in depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills.
* Develops and builds long term relationships.
* Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports
* Participates in professional organizations, meetings, workshops and seminars.
* Intercultural experience and appropriate orientation
* Advanced level of English
* Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge

Service Sales Engineer
The Siemens Building Technologies Division is the world market leader for safe, energy efficient and environmentally friendly buildings and infrastructure. As a technology partner, consultant, service provider, system integrator and product supplier, Building Technologies offers fire protection, security, building automation, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and energy management products and services.
For our BT Division in Istanbul, we are looking for a Sales Engineer for the service sales business. This role will be mainly responsible for selling digitalization projects to the existing fire and security systems according to digitalization business models of service business. In addition, he/she will be responsible of selling modernization project of existing fire and security systems.
What are my responsibilities?
* Understand and analyze the market needs, trends and the product&service portfolio in detail in order to develop and implement the best business approach
* Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory. Team sells with other Sales people.
* Starting from project design providing tailored solutions for specific customer requirements with Siemens and non-Siemens product&services
* Performing site surveys, system designs, preparing specifications, presentations and documentations. Conducting contracts&offers until closing sales
* Understand Siemens digitalization business models and quote them to service customers
* Build relationships and maintain frequent contact with key customers, potential internal and external customers
* Especially maintain and increase modernization sales according to the installed base
* Project management for small projects.
* Develop team work within Siemens internal departments
* Monitor, respond and escalate customer feedback/complaints/issues as appropriate to ensure satisfaction
What else do I need to know?
* Military service should be completed for male candidates
* No restrictions for travelling
* Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing
