QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

What are my responsibilities?
- Design and develop customer-specific IoT/Cloud/Web solutions and applications in Energy, Mobility and Industry domains.
- Work with partners and customers to create the highest quality and cost-effective solutions.
- Create working prototypes of target applications using related and required software technologies
- Define, implement, deploy and maintain development, staging & production environments for cloud-based (Amazon Web Services, AWS) micro-services architecture.
- Drive the software production process; lead the design phase, own given features beginning to end, from mockups & design documents/reviews to acceptance testing and deployment.
- Test and validate the proof of concepts together with engineering teams and customers for the best optimal solutions and configurations
- Be a part of Software development activities including:
- Designing, coding, unit testing and integration
- Participating in review process
- Taking part in the complete solution/product life-cycle
- Produce high quality and innovative deliverables for our customers
- Conform to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- BSc., MSc. or PhD in Computer Science or in related areas
- Very good command of English
- Minimum 5 years' experience in designing, engineering and implementation of software applications
- Proven skills and experience in requirements analysis, solution design, prototyping, testing, up-scaling and deployment of Professional commercial projects in diverse industries. ( Energy, Industry, Mobility etc. )
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Proven skills and experience in latest IoT/Edge/Cloud-based application development technologies ( i.e. Java Spring, Angular js, Node js, React js, HTML5, CSS3, Docker, Kubernetes etc. ) is a must.
- Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of AWS cloud platform and IaaS, PaaS and SaaS features like Availability, Scalability, Performance, Elasticity, Security, Monitoring, Alerting, Queuing, App Deployment etc.
- "AWS Certified Developer - Associate" certification is must.
- Experience in architecting serverless applications with AWS Lambda
- Experience in storing and retrieving assets from S3 and storing data in DynamoDB and RDS.
- Experience in building APIs with API Gateway
- Experience in Edging assets in Cloud-Front
- Experience in Authentication and Authorization with IAM
- Experience in designing and developing responsive UI applications for web and mobile platforms is a plus.
- Experience in integrating back-end web services is a plus.
- Proven skills in web/cloud and mobile application development for Data Analytics, AI, ML-based solution is a plus
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
