SİGAL Engineering is searching for a BIM Manager for projects with BIM management responsibility. This position needs a good level of English, enhanced team work abilities, being eager to learn state-of-art BIM techniques, open to gain and share knowledge with other team members. BIM is an unevitable part of construction management in future – thus this position provides a very promising career opportunity for individuals.

BIM project teams have 1 BIM manager, 2 to 4 BIM specialists and project-based number of draftsman.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Minimum of bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Construction Management

·         A minimum of 4 years in building design/construction industry

·         Ability to drive BIM Implementation and increase adoption

·         Expertise with Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, Civil 3D, Infraworks, Primavera P6

·         Experience with Revit MEP is a plus

·         Familiarity with project delivery and construction industry terminology

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

·         Ability to consistently meet deadlines

·         Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment

·         Must be knowledgeable in multi-discipline workflows including architecture as well as building engineering

·         Planning and team management skills

DUTIES

·         Develop workflows for utilizing BIM, schedule and other project data

·         On a day to day basis BIM Manager's will work with Designers, Planners, and Engineers to provide assistance in delivering projects.

·         Develop a model checking procedure and perform model checking for all received Building Information Models

·         Develop BIM guidelines, standards and execution plans

·         Sharing BIM guidelines with architectural, electrical, mechanical and infrastructural design teams to set incoming data standards

·         Insure accuracy and consistency of project data received from client and consultants

·         Maintain a consistent record of all Building Information Models received on projects

·         Provide guidance and education to the project team on the use of Building Information Modeling throughout the project

·         Integrate Primavera P6 schedule data with Building Information models to develop 4D models

·         Assist engineering and architectural teams in developing best practices.

·         Determine and maintain the direction and path we take as a company.

·         Periodic transfer of BIM model to client

·         Preparing 2D plans / sections from BIM model and giving periodic submittals to client

·         Substantial involvement during project closeout to transfer accurate project information to client

·         Understand and adopt continuous improvement initiatives and seek the implementation best practices

·         Stay current with new technology innovation in the field of BIM

·         Train individuals on working with Navisworks, Revit, Infraworks, BIM360, Civil 3D.

·         Create and maintain Revit Models, Revit Families and the Revit Library.

Travel: This position is based in our headquarters at Ankara. Up to 20% travel is expected. There will be times travel sequence becomes tighter or looser.
