Job Description

A Back-End Web Developer is responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end (Mobile and Web). You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic

• Building reusable code and libraries for future use

• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

• Implementation of security and data protection

• Deployment of code and applications to the servers

• Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the servers after releasing product

• Maintenance of developed projects

• Designing and implementing database layer of the applications

Skills And Qualifications

• University degree preferred, but not required
  

• Minimum 4 years of experience in professional software development
  

• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language and framework such as Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, NestJS or ExpressJS

• Good understanding of relational, non-relational and in-memory databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis

• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

• Familiar with design patterns and server architecture like SOA, Serverless, Microservice and monolithic architecture

• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

• Data migration, transformation, and scripting

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
