We are looking for a Mold Designer to take part in Şişecam Bilim and Teknoloji Merkezi in Çayırova-Gebze/Kocaeli. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, metallurgical materials engineering or related field
• Proficiency in CATIA or Solidworks software
• Knowledge of mold design principles and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  
  

Job Description

• Creating mold designs for glass packaging and glassware products using CATIA or Solidworks software
• Ensuring mold designs are compatible with the relevant factory's machine park and production process
• Reviewing and verifying mold designs prepared by the Mold Manufacturer Factory; archiving and updating all mold drawings
• Conducting research and projects in material and mold design and glass production machines
• Confirming the suitability of designs before mold production by giving feedback to the design team and communicating with the relevant production units
• Conducting research and development studies that increase efficiency in the mold design process
• Establishing necessary groups, preparing business plans, and providing technical support to other projects carried out throughout the company
• Providing technical support and carrying out improvement studies on issues that can be solved by mold design revision to the problems encountered in the production process
