Adhere to all Six Senses brand standards ensuring successful communication across all levels of the operation. 

Specific

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for contributing towards and implementing the communications strategy for Six Senses Kocataş Mansions Istanbul. 

Develop strategic and creative PR plans for the resort

Responsible for growing, enhancing and protecting the brand s reputation in the local market

Responsible for the management and development of local and global media relationships, but with a core focus on the Turkey market where Six Senses has no Public Relations representation

Working closely with the International Public Relations Agencies

Manage the creation and delivery of national and international Public Relations campaigns and media events

Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing in content creation, delivery and analysis, with the aim of ensuring a well-structured, aligned and smooth dissemination of the resort’s news

Overlook all collateral/printed and on line promotional material creation, printing, quality and delivery as per the brand’s standard 

Resort’s Public/Guest Relations

Coordinate all internal procedures for handling press visits on property with all the departments to ensure prompt responses in a professional and efficient manner

Process all telephone in-coming calls relating to press & resorts’ public relations

Verify press and influencers/VIPs daily arrivals to ensure priority room assignment and room amenities delivery

Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as directed

Report any complaints or abnormal occurrence to the General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing

Contribute to the morale and team spirit by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues 

General

Develops and maintains good relationships with resort departments, media and customers

Make appropriate suggestions and recommendations to management for the general mprovement in service and guest experiences

Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures

Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of local law

Arrive on time in full uniform in accordance with the company grooming guideline

Participates and successfully completes training and educational programs as set by Six Senses Resorts & Spas 

Technical Skills

Marketing education in marketing strategies, advertising, client relations, social media, and selling with a combination of proven activities

Superb communication skills effective across diverse audiences

Recognizing current trends, marketplace attitudes and company intelligence

Excellent command over written and spoken Turkish & English

Other languages would be beneficial

Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to an advanced level

Sociable and amiable – ability to develop relationships quickly both internally and externally

Cross-cultural work exposure in a team setting
