In our manufacturing facility in Gebze, Kocaeli, we manufacture highly efficient solar PV modules based on crystalline silicon technology for on-grid & off-grid solar power plants, commercial rooftop, and land-based solar power projects. With 23.500m2 indoor space and our state-of-the-art automated production lines to ensure the highest quality standards in producing both standard and dual glass modules using the latest PERC, Half Cut Cell, and Bi-Facial solar module technologies up to 12 Busbars totaling to an 1000MW yearly capacity. 

Smart Energy currently owns and operates solar IPP sites in Turkey, Romania, Greece, and Bulgaria with 100+ MW capacity, and another 60MW under construction. 

With a portfolio of more than 500+ MW in utility-scale & rooftop solar EPC projects, we possess years of expertise in constructing utility-scale and rooftop solar power plants of all sizes.

We are looking for an experienced Product Development Executive for our factory, which performs mass production in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in preferably Physichs, Chemistry, Material & Metallurgy Engineering, Energy/Electrical Engineering department from reputable universities,
• Min. 8- 10 years of experience in product management,
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience within one of the following fields; technical conception, technical sales, development or project management in the photovoltaic industry,
• Having strong leadership and communication skills, competencies in team management, coordinating and motivating employees,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, planning, tracking, and reporting,
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
• Having a systematic and result-oriented approach to problem-solving, achieving goals, customer focus,
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in Excel, Autocad and PVSYST,
• Flexible in working hours,
• For male candidates, military service must be completed,
• Resides in the Anatolian side of Istanbul or Kocaeli region

Job Description

• Technological consulting of customers and colleagues in the Business Development Team,
• Point of contact for technical questions in the context of the quotation preparation and 1st level technical customer support,
• Design of new product,
• Communication between departments( Production, R&D and Quality)  in regards of product development, technical improvement, and product changes,
• Evaluation of certification requirements and supervision of test and certification processes,
• Technical documentation management ( PAN files, installation manuals, Warranty terms ,etc.)
• Frequent benchmarking of our products against competition,
• Frequent monitoring of market development and customer requests,
• Taking technical ownership of the product or the features Developing technology roadmap by keeping interaction with all related parties,
• Working in agile environment with strong ability of preparing analysis for development teams,
• Technology investigation to deliver new features, preparing benchmark to analyse the competition globally or locally.
