Definition: 

• Plan, implement, monitor and optimize operational processes in the areas of environmental management, health protection and occupational safety
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, standards and requirements
• Work in accordance with the Group's HSE – CSR rules, strategyandcontribute to the achievement of Group’s results
• Obtain and maintain ISO corporate multi-site certification for the production site

MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

• Application and implementation of health and safety requirements in the workplace as well as application and implementation of environmental management systems
• Regular inspections of the environment, health and safety at work.
• Carry out risk analyses and assessments, take and carry out the necessary corrective and preventive measures
• Direct contact for internal and/or external on-site audits of all HSE standards. Reporting and monitoring of corrective actions
• Ensure that all machines and systems are CE certified
• Follow the legislation of the Turkish Republic regarding the environment, health and safety at work, inform the management of any changes and ensure that the production site complies with the legal requirements in the event of changes
• Maintain contact with authorities, fire brigades and neighbours in terms of safety, health and the environment.
• Prepare for validation and signature by management internal or external (supervisory authorities) communication on optimizations in the areas of health, safety and the environment
• Chemical risk management (Safety Data Sheets, storage, conditions of use, waste sorting)
• Waste management (organization, monitoring, traceability, optimization)
• Manage individual and/or collective protection devices, such as Personal Protective Equipment
• Draw up emergency plans and ensure that the production site is secured and monitored during the weekend and vacancy breaks (building alarm, external security service)
• Manage work permits in internal and at external with external companies and subcontractors,on site 
• Preparation, implementation and improvement of KPIs for environment, energies, health and safety at work, withAlignment with the Group's HSE - CSR standards
• Participate in team meetings on HSE-CSR with Corporate HSE-CSR Teams and ensure that production site adheres and respects to the HSE-CSR Group's strategy, goals and requirements and participate to events, actions, communication at Group level.
• Ensure continuous improvement through reporting on all issues of health and safety at work and environmental protection, as well as through measures set out in an action plan
• Create and maintain an HSE training plan and ensure that training intervals are adhered to
• Conduct HSE training for new employees
• Ensure that the HSE regulation is complied with at the workplaces. Notify management of any breach of this regulation
• Internal and external documentation and information of accidents at work and commuting as well asnear-accidents and environmental and/or equipment damage, and report events to Corporate according to established procedures
• Regularly check the renewal of handling machines and lifting devices.

REQUESTED PROFILE

School education

• Graduate of Environmental Engineering  of Universities
• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, occupational health and safety management and practices in enterprises,
• Certified as a Class B or C Occupational Safety Specialist,
• Has environmental officer certificate,
• OHSAS 45001 Experienced in occupational health and safety and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System studies

Vocational training

• Completed studies in the field of environmental management and/or quality management
• Continuing education in the field of HSE expected
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO14001 and ISO 50001 standards and certification processes

Professional experience

• Practical industry experience is an asset

Special knowledge and experience

• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of SharePoint
