Socotab Yaprak Tütün is one of the leading oriental leaf Tobacco merchants in the world, supplying quality, compliant oriental tobacco to the world’s top cigarette manufacturers and is looking for an ambitious and motivated candidate to join Administration & Finance team as IT Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years experience in IT with exposure in a similar or relevant role.Experience and exposure to international business environments within a multinational company. Experience within the tobacco industry is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory and/or team leading position
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple key IT technical domains (computer systems, networking, systems administration, databases, virtualization, data storage systems, security and IP telephony systems).
• Experience designing, leading and managing large IT projects and multi-facetedd complex IT solutions and rolling out IT infrastructures across various platforms.
• Very good command of verbal and written English
• Excellent project management skills and proven ability to prioritize.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Broad understanding of all aspects of the company's business and information needs, and ability to recognize opportunities to enhance business effectiveness through information services.
• Ability to develop medium – to long–term work plan and be responsible for its implementation.
• Demonstrable skills in managing a technical services department, good organizational skills.
• Good communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills - the job holder possesses limited resources and has to constantly negotiate priorities of systems implementation and maintenance activities with functional managers relating to available resources, work schedules and other projects. 

Job Description

• Working with affiliate management and in coordination with the HQ IT, develop affiliate, regional offices and branches’ IT plans and ensure current implementations are in line with the strategy set forth in the Group IT plan.
• Develop short – and long–term local IT objectives including architecture, hardware, software and personnel plans.
• Prepare the Affiliate, regional offices and branches’ IT budget for all IT expenditures including CAPEX, OPEX and seek local management and HQ IT approvals.
• Continuously carry out budget controls, cost analyses and cost projections during the year in order to ensure availability of funds and avoid budgetary overspending.
• Recruit, manage, motivate, appraise and develop subordinate staff to ensure a motivated and productive IT team is in place.
• Provide leadership to the Systems Development and Technical Services personnel in the development, implementation and support of business applications and systems, IT infrastructure and services.
• In accordance with local management and HQ IT priorities and objectives, ensure the effective implementation of business applications specific to the local environment. Ensure that standard methodology for analysis, programming and documentation is followed.
• Ensure that the Group project management process is in place - projects are clearly defined, produce the expected deliverables on time, within budget and comply with standards outlined in corporate methodology.
• Actively participate in development and implementation of the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans and keep IT related elements up to date.
• Ensure that regular checks, aimed at identifying security violations, are performed and take necessary action to eliminate existing as well as potential security violations.
• Ensure that preferred, reliable suppliers of infrastructure equipment, hardware and software, security systems and IT training are identified. Once established, maintain good relations to ensure that the Affiliate, regional offices and branches receive optimal service at the lowest possible cost.
• Ensure the affiliate IT Helpdesk operates in an effective, friendly and supportive manner to be able to quickly respond to users' requests.
• Stay current with the Group IT plans and major initiatives and work closely with peers from other affiliates to leverage synergies and reduce implementation and support costs.
• Stay current with progress in the IT sector to be aware of new Cloud technologies, products, services and concepts appearing on the market aimed at improving quality of IT services to the user community and/or lower IT costs.
• Carry out system administrator duties in case the Technical Services personnel are absent or overstretched
• Store all administration access codes and passwords in an encrypted password database for all types of systems and services.
