We are currently looking for candidates for the position of Technical superintendent and/or Designated Person Ashore (DPA) for our company specialized in riversea shipping with 6 riversea going vessels, based in Istanbul, Beşikaş, Turkey.

Roles and responsibilities; 

• Monitor technical performance and operational conditions of allocated ships
• Ensure that all ships are fully certified according to the requirements
• Arrange surveys, dry dockings and repairs
• Supervise repair / conversion jobs, including dry-dockings and attend important surveys
• Prepares detailed operating budgets for maintenance, dry-docking and surveys
• Prepares reviews and annual reports on vessel's budgeted and actual expenditures
• Prepare technical reports to owners

Desired Skills and Experience 

• Previous experience in a similar role. 
  
• Preferred seagoing experience. 
  
• Fluent in English Language. Knowledge of Russian Language is a plus. 
  
• Good knowledge of applicable international and national codes, guidelines and standards such as ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL etc. 
  
• Good knowledge of shipping and seamanship.
