QUALIFICATIONS
SPOT Kimya A.Ş. (exclusive distributor for Tanatex Chemicals, Transfar Chemicals and Microban Int.) is looking for experienced candidates to join it's growing team of textile chemical auxiliary experts as, 'Technical Sales Engineer' based in Denizli, Turkey.
- University Degree in Textile Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required,
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Engineer in the textile auxiliary industry,
- Production, dyhouse and finishing experience, prior to Technical Sales Engineer position at a textile mill is required,
- Silicone softeners and finishing auxiliaries reliable sales network is a plus,
- Good planning, team work and analytical persuasion skills are requisite,
- Candidates must demonstrate high level of credibility, self motivation and work independently, as well as in a team of experienced engineers,
- High energy level, positive attitude, high self confidence, dress and finery should be at high level to present the company quality and culture,
- Customer oriented, high attention to customer satisfaction is expected,
- Good self and work discipline, strive to create a real difference in the company,
- A passion for silicone softeners, to work in a dynamic business environment, as well as have the necessary quality to work efficiently under stress,
- Willing to invest in self-development and social skills,
- One who sees 'Technical Sales Engineer' position as a high value profession,
- Good level of computer literacy and proactive usage of related CRM systems is a requirement,
- Strong fluency in both written and spoken Turkish and English,
- Valid driving license B and completion of military service is required.
Job Description:
- The candidate is expected to carry out textile auxiliary field technical sales and sales support activities in the region,
- Is responsible for achieving yearly targets, need to achieve personal sales targets, create action plans and follow through,
- Will make routine technical visits, carry out industrial trials at the customers to be accepted as a business solution provider and partner,
- Visit the customers with technical experts to create solutions to their problems by adding value to their process and/or end products,
- Effective negotiation of price, quantities, payment terms as to achieve the business plans,
- Manage active customer database and successfully convert opportunities to sales growth,
- Develop sales in-line with corporate strategy,
- Deliver a high level of service to customers,
- Effectively manage quality / service issues that arise,
- Work closely with sales related functions to build good teamwork, generate customer satisfaction and deliver business results,
- Develop new projects around commercial and developmental opportunities,
- Provide needed data to Sales Department to efficiently manage the business,
- Follow and report trends in the textile processing market.
