We are looking for an experienced Data Protection Senior Engineer and a good team member, who will work inSunExpress Antalya Headquarter

Our requirements for this position;

• Good Knowledge of English
• University graduate from Computer engineering
• Reasonable understanding of what technical and organisational measures the organisation should have in place for data protection and be familiar with information technologies and data security
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the information security and/or data protection area
• Experience in data protection legislation
• Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Providing advice on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and monitoring their performance
• Maintaining Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data asset inventory that includes includes owners and data location.
• Evaluating requests for the transfer of PII data to third parties
• To make suggestions and evaluations that will provide the equivalence of the relevant criteria in the legal opinions of the DPO to the business.
• Reporting the incompatibilities related to data protection legislation and information security principle detected in IT systems to DPO and offering solutions and making recommendations for fixing the defaults.
• Ensuring data protection legal requirements are embedded in projects and applications and ensuring effective coordination between the IT Directorate and DPO
• To perform the duties assigned by the DPO in accordance with the risk assessment.
• Monitoring data management procedures to ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation
• Assisting DPO and Data Protection Assistant Officer to comply with the related data protection laws in terms of business systems and applications.
• Participating in all projects in order to provide guidance and advice to Data Protection Officer and Data Protection Assistant Officer for IT relevant issues.
• Planning the digitalization processes of the DPO and ensuring the implementation of the plan upon approval of the DPO
• Assisting Data Protection Assistant Officer regarding the variety of Data Protection queries and data subject requests arising from their rights under KVKK and GDPR
• Assisting the Data Protection Officer and Data Protection Assistant Manager in coordinating the data breach response plan management process
