Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading and managing restaurants. Also, responsible for different tasks such as assisting and reporting to Director of Food and Beverage, restaurant marketing strategies, recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, developing menus as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests. He/She will submit reports, meet revenue goals, and offer advice for how to run the business most effectively


  Core Activities

  • Assisting in Management of Restaurant Team
  • Handles employee questions and concerns.
  • Monitors employees to ensure performance expectations are met.
  • Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.
  • Assists in supervising daily shift operations.
  • Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Participates in department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.
  • Conducting Day-to-Day Restaurant Operations
  • Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
  • Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Providing exceptional guest service
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Encourages employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
  • Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor, as necessary.
  • Strives to improve service performance.
  • Supervises on-going training initiatives.
  • Uses all available on the job training tools for employees.
  • Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.
  • Coaches and counsels’ employees regarding performance on an on-going basis 

Competencies 

  • At least 3 years experience in a luxury hotel segment, preferably in a resort.
  • Fluency in English and Turkish
  • Guest service and detail oriented
  • Positive thinking, personal presentation, initiative, adaptability/flexibility, integrity, dependability, stress tolerance, property knowledge, company policies knowledge, safety orientation, innovation, self-development.
  • People management, fostering teamwork, and giving feedback
  • Able to develop policies and procedures
  • Self-motivated, high energy level, multi-tasking skills
  • Clear verbal communication to subordinates and superiors
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Advanced skills in restaurant point of sales experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
  • Availability to work at weekends and holidays

Preferred Candidate

Associate Degree(Graduate), Bachelor’s(Graduate)
English(Reading : Advanced, Writing : Advanced, Speaking : Advanced)
