Suvla is a young fast-growing wine estate in Gallipoli Peninsula, Thrace, Turkey.
Winery capacity increased to 2.6 Million Liters, owned vineyards expanded to 65 Hectares.
Due to growing capacity and business the company is now seeking
· Snr Winemaker – Oenologist Who would be responsible from the winery
Qualifications and skills:
Understand the scientific principles behind wine production
Have a learned understanding of how to improve wine and develop fine wines
Develop an understanding of wine retail and market demand
Work with marketing teams to be able to package and market the wine effectively
An appreciation of fine wines, table wines, and the different product areas which exist in the market
An understanding of the wine harvesting and wine development processes
An understanding of food and beverage distribution and marketing
An ability to handle a continuous process of learning and additional accreditation
Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Fermentation Science, Chemistry, Enology,
10 years of winemaking experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Advance level English and French
Team Management Skills
Problem Solver, decision maker
Experience presenting information to top management, public groups and/or board of directors.
Experience carrying-out assignments that are broad and difficult in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
