Operation Specialist

We seek an “ Operation Specialist ” reporting directly to the department manager, to be a part of our chartering&operation department and be responsible for supporting” laytime and vessel costing and operation issues” day-to-day and continuously improving the process of our company. 

Job Description:

• Making laytime calculations, negotiating with 3rd parties, tracing and closing files on both the trade and ownership side.

• Tracing, vessels demurrage, despatch and opex /voyage expenses and other related payments of vessels daily and weekly,

• Collecting/analysing/recording invoices and amounts basis the vessel costing system

• Tracing payment of the invoices 

• Tracing instructions of managers and advising feedback accordingly.

Requirements / Competencies:

•            Degree in Faculty of Maritime and Business Administration highly preferred,

•            At least one year of experience in the related sector

•            Fluency in English, both written and spoken,

•            Good command of MS Office Applications,

•            Solid planning, organisation, time management, coordination, and multitasking skills.

•            Fast-mover, having an agile structure

•            Great communicator, ability to work very closely with other departments and colleagues

•            Strong reporting ability.

•            Open to personal and business improvement, suitable for corporate identity work,

•            Highly motivated and result-oriented,
