English Castle, an English Language center in Istanbul-Turkey, is lookingfor full time & part time English language teachers to teach our Face-to-Face classes in our premises at Fulya mah. Büyükdere cad. No:42 Doğuş iş Hanı kat:4 Mecidiyeköy/ istanbul.

The short list candidates are expected to attend an online or face-to-face interview, prior to a required demo class, a prerequisite for the hiring process.

During the interview, the teacher will communicate a very high level in the following areas:

·         -Teaching methodology, e.g., class management, lessons stages, etc.;

·         -Expertise in successfully managing the teaching-learning environment;

During the demo lesson, the teacher will demonstrate

·         -great skills for lesson planning and execution;

·         -achieving the objectives of the lesson efficiently;

·         -managing the class efficiently and interactively;

·        - incorporating technology in the classroom: using the smart board and the digital projector, focusing on pedagogical approaches; implementing the communicative approach principles: activating pair and group work in addition to class projects and dynamics;

·         -maintaining high professional standards with the learners;

·         -Good problem-solving skills;

·         -Excellent communication skills;

Job description

·         Teach face-to-face classes for young adults and adults on daily basis for 5 days a week;

·         Plan daily lessons efficiently and effectively;

·         Commitment to the syllabus in addition to implementing good games and activities;

·         Carry out assigned tasks on our LMS platform;

o   Taking attendance promptly;

o   Offering the quizzes assigned promptly;

o   Grading and uploading grades to the LMS in a timely manner;

o   Offering constructive feedback to the learners duly;

Requirements

The successful candidate must be privileged with:

·         -A relevant degree to the field of ELT: BA in English language or Literature, CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL, etc

·         -A good teaching experience with adults and in incorporating technology in the classroom

·         -A high command of English with a clear enunciation and articulation of the words (clear pronunciation)

·         -High level of dedication and punctuality to class time;

·         -Sustain a dynamic class throughout the lesson;

·         -Maintain engaging and interactive learning atmosphere;

·         -Maintain good team work with our teaching community;
