Top Skills Required for this Position;

 Software will work as a senior member of a software development team, responsible for the overall architecture during development, implementation and post deployment support of enterprise applications. In this role, the Architect - Software will work independently or with minimal input from the Development Manager. As a member of the team, the Architect - Software will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Architect - Software will be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team and provide them guidance and support in completing their assignments. This position is recognized as a subject matter expert within a domain of the overall application architecture. 

• Java (more than 8  years) - 8+ years of industry experience in Java/J2EE, and at least 3+ year of experience in Hands on design experience 

- Sound technical knowledge on Java/J2EE with a working knowledge on REST, SOA, ESB, JMS, Web Services, Spring Framework, Angular integration would be added advantage

- Hands on experience on Micro service architecture and DevOPs is mandatory

- Must have completed at least 3 enterprise implementations in the capacity of Architect/Lead

- Should have worked on extensive back-end integration using API Gateway/ Middleware. 

- Must have clarity in integration architecture and implementation using data exchange formats such as SOAP/REST/JSON

- Understand business needs and convert business requirements into a design and ability to see through the modular issues

- Must be able to independently handle overall architectural designs, envision NFR’s and implement it

- Must have handled responsibility for the quality of architecture and design

- Ability to evaluate current state of architecture, platform and provide architectural recommendations to improve performance, scalability and reliability

- Ability to define physical, logical and technical architectures based on the requirements

- Should have rich experience in data migration and working in a highly integrated enterprise application

- Must be able to work with the Project Manager in mapping the project life cycle and manage roll-out and post-deliverable strategy

Key Responsibilities:

 - Must have played a leadership role in leading a team of 15+ with an ability to lead and mentor people 

- Experienced in planning, estimation, delivery model, customer facing roles and effective client interaction skills 

- Experienced in Architecture Design, Solution Design, Technical consulting

- Must have had experience working at client location in one or more geographies and should be willing to travel

- Experienced in Agile, iterative and parallel development model is desirable

Other Responsibilities:

- Handle interviews to attract external talent for the role of Technical Architect/Tech Lead

 - Nurture and groom in-house budding Architects 

- Build ‘Reference Architecture’ for selected technical domains

- Involve in pre-sales process and lead creating effective proposals for large, complex systems

- Write ‘Point of View’ document on emerging technology trends

- Conduct internal sessions on Architecture and Technology related topics
