Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Identify test cases that are candidates for test automation and develop and maintain test automation scripts for the selected test automation candidates for e-commerce application including web and mobile platforms
• Executing automated test scenarios for functionality, regression, integration, etc.
• Analyze and report test results to identify and prioritize defects and issues
• Building and maintinaing the test automation pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of software in an agile environment
• Design and implement testing strategies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the test automation framework
• Continuously evaluate and improve test automation practices and methodologies

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related area
• Minimum of 5 years of experiences in designing and implementing test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
• Experience in QA and software testing – test case planning, test case preparation, test execution, defect management & defect resolution
• Expertise in using industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG and Junit
• Ability to write and execute automated tests using scripting languages, such as Java, Python
• Knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience in API testing and understanding of RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with performance testing tools, such as Jmeter or LoadRunner
• Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Experience with software development tools like Jira, Confluence and test management tools like Xray
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
