The Peninsula Istanbul is located in the historic Karaköy area overlooking the Bosphorus – the meeting point of Asia and Europe. The hotel will feature 177 luxurious guest rooms and suites, a grand ballroom with sweeping views of the Bosphorus, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa and a verdant garden on the waterfront.

As we continue to expand the pre-opening team, The Peninsula Istanbul is seeking to hire a Revenue Manager to Implement the rooms revenue management strategy and activities, including, but not limited to compiling statistical and competitive research analysis, forecasting room revenue, inventory control, channel distribution, optimizing global distribution system (GDS) and online travel agent (OTA) sites.

Key accountabilities

• Recommend and implement the revenue maximisation, business mix, and opportunities strategies. 
• Support the gathering of statistical and competitive information to produce timely and accurate forecasts to maximise all revenue opportunities, while adhering to group revenue policies.
• Monitor competitive pricing for all revenue streams and recommend appropriate actions in relation to the hotel’s pricing and market mix balance to achieve budget.
• Utilise marketing intelligence tool and reports, (e.g., STR, Demand360, Agency360, Rate Shop) in analysing trends and develop strategies to capture maximum market share.
• Collaborate and seize opportunities to work with Sales, Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing & Communications to ensure a cohesive approach and drive synergies to maximise sales and marketing strategies and actions to achieve annual hotel budgets.
• Develop the revenue management strategy.
• Track and monitor the productivity and flow through of all market segments such as guest direct bookings, negotiated corporate, wholesale, consortia, group, government rates. 
• Participate in revenue meetings with the DOR, DOSM, DOS  and provide daily updates on booking pace, revenue, daily rates; and participate in the daily hotel briefing, weekly revenue meeting, weekly sales related meetings.

General requirements

•    Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in revenue management, ideally in a high-profile luxury hotel.
•    Strong sales, reservations, and revenue management expertise.
•    Financial and analytical acumen.
•    Systems knowledge: PMS, Sabre CRS, RM System and other Channel Management tools.
•    Ability to communicate and discuss revenue strategy with all levels of management and colleagues.
•    Analytical; detailed-oriented and organised; results-oriented; articulate.
•    Fluency in English with excellent writing and presentation skills.
