 Key accountabilities 

• Assists the Director of Security with special projects, provides for the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and resort property in an effective, professional and guest-friendly manner.
• Responsible for assisting the Director of security  in coordination of security operations, as well as managing, training, and assessing performance of the entire security personnel.
• Security Manager is also responsible for conducting internal investigations when necessary, providing courteous service, managing the schedules of security personnel and tracking their attendance.
• Maintain full accountability for managing all aspects of day-to-day safety and security activities in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
• Assist in maintaining and developing CCTV operations for exterior and interior of property and evaluate deficiencies of property coverage.
• Produce new policies and procedures for the security department to maximize patrol efficiency and minimize property and personal crimes. Security Manager help in writing and developing security policies and procedures for the security department, oversee all necessary training modules and procedures for security staff, and provide protection to important persons when necessary.
• Maintain full accountability for managing all aspects of day-to-day safety and security activities in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.

  General requirements 

• Security Manager must be able to solve practical problems quickly and efficiently when the need arises
• 5188 Private Security Licence.
• Security Manager must have a minimum of at least five years’ experience or training in hospitality security, medical training, firefighting, military or business management.
• He must possess supervisory and management skills as he takes the place of the Director of Security and Risk when he is not available.
• Has good knowledge in English.
