QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The Peninsula Istanbul will offer spectacular views of the Bosphorus Strait, the meeting point of East and West. Located in the historic Karaköy district, the hotel will feature 177 opulent guestrooms and a glamourous rooftop, forming part of the Salıpazarı Port re-development, which also features a cruise terminal, public squares, restaurants, and museums. A great opportunity to work in an exciting Signature Restaurant, The Peninsula Istanbul is looking for its Restaurant Guest Relations Manager to ensure the highest standards of customer service together with Peninsula Service Principles.

 Key accountabilities 
  • Manage efficiently all reservations and table allocation of the outlet.
  • Manage the entire guest reservations system.
  • Assist Restaurant employees in providing table reservation details/ sharing guest preferences or any other information that helps the service exceptional.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive set of guest history records.
  • Handle the queries of the guests related to any procedure of the restaurant efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the arrival to restaurant and departures of the special guests and VIP guests.
  • Handle guest's complaints and issues and resolve them effectively together with Restaurant General Manager.
 General requirements  
  • Strong selling and negotiations skills.
  • Natural, energetic, friendly, and well-groomed.
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills.
  • High persuasiveness with problem solving approach.
  • Successful in managing relations with high communication skills. 
  • Strong follow up with organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English language proficiency.
