We are looking for a new colleague who could help thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions Turkey to strengthen its footprint in Turkey as well as in the MEA Region. 

Job profile/ responsibilities

As Procurement Engineer you will be responsible forprocurement processes by providing the best conditions in terms of quality, price, delivery terms, technology and sustainability in accordance with guidelinesand all in compliance with local as well as group regulations and procedures.  

Responsibilities include:

·       Doing market research and sourcing of suppliers according to the internal requirements. (Finding new supplier, classifying, working with the classified suppliers, evaluation, and enhancing the sustainability.), 

·       Supervising and reporting on overall strategic goals and suppliers, including performance, efficiency, scale, flexibility, pricing, and risks

·       Coordinating all projects with related departments and managing the fulfillment of all tasks within the given timeline

·       Developing high-level sourcing strategy which identifies the best products and services available

·       Supporting and potentially leading supplier performance recovery & improvement activities

·       Managing the whole contract negotiations with the suppliers and coordinating the supplier, corporate law and related technical units to complete purchasing process, 

·       Performing the control of payments to suppliers at the right time and working coordinately with the Finance and Accounting Department, 

·       Following up the logistics to maintain the delivery of the goods on time and ensuring the arrival of the orders to the factory properly

Qualifications 

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

·       Minimum 8 years of experience in the fields of procurement within an international comparable company

·       Profound user knowledge of Logo

·       Proficient use of MS Office (especially with Excel)

·       An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

·       Ability to strategize, prioratize and solve problems

·       Strong commitment to goals and proactive attitude

·       Strong communication and negotiation skills

·       Profound proficiency in English
