QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB PURPOSE To effectively manage assigned resources, departments and/or locations, ensuring that operational goals are achieved; processes and procedures are completed promptly and consistently. Ensures that all activities are in line with Company goals and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities may be within a country, across countries or regions.
Recruits, develops, motivates and manages the team performance. Provides guidelines, support and coaching to ensure that team members have the competencies, capabilities and tools to consistently deliver individual and team objectives.
Ensures team awareness of current processes and procedures, and relevant Company and regulatory requirements, which may impact the operation or department. Takes steps to ensure any changes are implemented. Ensures completion of audit and reviews of existing processes or documentation to ensure appropriate standards and rules are applied. Identifies and investigates anomalies, issues or variance to be addressed and implements corrective actions to ensure compliance and/or create improvements in process and procedures.
Arranges completion of accurate and timely reporting across area of responsibility. Provides reports, presentations and relevant information to senior management as required. Ensures the effective development and use of information or record management systems or reporting practices.
Plans and schedules resources, including rostering, to ensure department priorities are completed.
Communicates targets and goals to the team. Provides updated on progress towards goals for senior management and team. In order to ensure ongoing team capability to deliver both current and future job requirements and to support the growth of the business evaluates short/medium term resource requirements.
Oversees team projects/initiatives in order to deliver planned results on time and within budget.
Supports the team using project management tools and processes to plan, control and execute various project /programs.
Continuously seeks to develop and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team by applying quality driven management (QDM) principles.
Manages location budget and takes appropriate actions in order to optimize costs and to remain within agreed parameters. May include involvement in vendor management and/or procurement.
Ensures team activities are completed on time and effectively, whilst maintaining compliance with company and statutory/regulatory requirements. Highlights and acts on areas of significant risk to minimize it.
Builds effective networks relationships within own team and with key stakeholders across the business in order to achieve optimal business outcomes. Maintains external alignments with customers, vendors, relevant subject matter experts (SMEs) or external bodies as required. Represents company in external organisations as required.
- At least Bachelor degree from relevant departments,
- Good command of English is an asset,
- Min 5 years of team management experience in a multinational organization (warehouse / depot management or solid experience in supply chain is an asset),
- Good command of related PC tools and applications usage,
- An ideal candidate is expected to have Leadership Skills, Team Working Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Planning & Organizing Skills, Accuracy & Attention to Details.
- Residing in Izmir or able to relocate,
