Financial Controller For International Operations

Who we are looking for a results-driven and confident Financial Controller to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. Duties for the Financial Controller will include coordination and management of accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, reporting financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating information exchange between the entity and the outsourced accounting, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and have excellent leadership skills. The noteworthy Financial Controller should streamline our accounting functions and operations through implementing group finance and accounting policies and procedures, provide financial analysis and reports, promote regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, accounting, business or finance
• Proven experience in finance management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
• Auditing experience
• Ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements
• Proficiency in ERP software i.e SAP, MS Axapta, Oracle
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel and Powerpoint
• Analytical skills
• CPA certification may receive preference
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations
• Native or advanced German speaker, with fluent English and/or Turkish

Responsibilities:

• Preparing timely financial statements
• Developing and forecasting budgets and budget follow up
• Analyzing financial data
• Monitoring internal controls
• Overseeing and preparing income statements
• Participating in budgeting processes as business partner for international operations
• Reporting financial transactions and expenditure monitoring
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations through implementation of finance and accounting policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements
• Coordinating information flow between entity and the outsourced accounting
• Collaborating as company representative with business partners
• Cooperating with business units and support functions across company
• Ensuring prompt and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
