Toyota Boshoku Türkiye  has a vacancy in the Health Safety and Environment Department as Health, Safety and Environment Assistant Manager located in Adapazarı (Sakarya). 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Machinery/Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE areas
• Strong knowledge of HSE principles and regulations
• Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency with MS Office Programs (Excel, Power Point etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (both English & Turkish)
• Must work well in a team atmosphere and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Machinery and Fire Safety experience is preferred
• Completed military service or booked for paid military service for male candidates
• Residing / able to reside in Sakarya or Kocaeli
• Able to drive actively
• Able to travel when required

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Daily monitoring of driver’s overall safety record through a variety of reports and systems
• Advise and assist management on HSE matters to ensure implementation of HSE management system
• Ensure the development, implementation and updating of required written safety and health programs and plans
• Facilitate internal and external auditing as per divisional audit schedule and ensure tracking and close of remedial action
• Coordinate accident / injury investigations within area of responsibility and where necessary as per requirement, lead investigations and ensure tracking
• Coordinate inspections of project and facility operations and carry out management "walk throughs' monthly with site management
• Monitor housekeeping program to consistently improve its standards
• Ensure periodical inspections / of various safety and life saving equipments, fire fighting equipments, gas monitors, breathing apparatus etc.
• Communicate with municipality authorities and other relevant organizations
• To maintain up to date of the latest safety requirements of area and report changes to management
• To coordinate HSE training of employees as required in line with divisional and site specific training to ensure competency of workforce is maintained as required
• Provide HSE statistics and report of HSE activities, to divisional HSE manager, business units and employees representatives
• Monitor emergency drills as an observer and advise the line supervisor for proper exercise, both in the residential area and in the work sites
• Provide ongoing training for drivers which includes counselling and/or assigning of online courses tailored specifically to their needs
• Carry out instructions in related to other HSE activities as required by the divisional HSE manager
