QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from reputable University. Most preferably Mechanical or Aeronautical engineer. MSC or PHD is an asset.
- Min. 8 years experience in similar field.
- Using 3D CAD software is a must (Solid Works and CATIA is preferred.)
- Deep experience about jigs & fixtures design
- Knowledge & exprience on P-FMEA, D-FMEA, CAD, FAT&SAT studies
- Knowledge about metrology methods and tools (Faro laser tracker - Faro arm tracker knowledge and exprience is a plus)
- Having the ability to understand the composite molding structures
- Having FEA competency
- Manage the TPI Turkey D&T Team in collobration with other TPI Global Sites
- Will develop innovative designs and design strategies
- Improve, provide, and maintain functional processes, policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure a culture of Continuous improvement (lessons learned) is in place
- Ensure employees in functional areas follow established procedures and generate finished work products under time and budgetary constraints and ensures products yield the expected outcome and established quality levels. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Conduct meetings with internal & external customers to provide status and obtain feedback.
- Perform routine mechanical design reviews for cost, schedule, risk management, and deliverable adherence.
- Conduct oversight, mentorship and guidance to individual mechanical design task leads.
- Work with mechanical design task engineers & technicians to track and maintain efficient task performance
- Maintain active related risk management (technical, cost, and schedule) on all associated mechanical tasks.
- Perform other duties as required.
