We are looking for enthusiastic and talented specialist to join us as “Import & Export Specialist”. The role is based in Menemen, İzmir.

What will be your contributions:

• To initiate negotiations with the supplier after the import orders are opened,
• Carrying out the transportation/logistics organization, if the delivery method requires, as per the agreement with the supplier; negotiating with the logistics companies and evaluating the appropriate offers,
• To follow the operation works in the import process of the material, to be in contact with the transport company against all kinds of problems,
• Coordinating the customs procedures with the customs representative after the arrival of the material in the country,
• To follow and control the payment process of customs and import costs,
• To follow and control the supply of goods and services in accordance with the deadline,
• To follow up the invoice of the purchased goods and services; to enter the data into the system,
• Establishing the communication, improvement and development bridge between company departments and suppliers and acting as an intermediary in solving problems,
• Annual and quarterly logistics cost budgeting; actual logistics cost control and reporting and development of systems,
• Monitoring of temporary material or machine exits and entries.

What will be decisive: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
• At least 4 years of experience in related fields
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking in English
• Computer proficiency, especially MS Excel
• Quality orientation and high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform problem analysis and problem resolution
• Free Trade Zone customs operations knowledge will be preferred
