UI/UX Designer

High traffic volume B2B e-commerce platform needs an experienced UI/UX Designer to own the overall user experience for internet & mobile projects. The UI/UX Designer’s main objective is to improve the usability, usefulness, and visual design of tradevalley.com. The successful candidate will gain a deep understanding of our platform, our traffic patterns, and factors that influence our conversations and sales. This role will work with the Product Management, Marketing and Executive teams to strategize and test all aspects of the online customer experience with the sole goal of influencing user interaction in support of company conversion and revenue goals. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for identifying opportunities, analyzing traffic funnels and brainstorming ideas to improve conversion rates and the online customer experience for a very high traffic web property. Responsibilities include executing the forward-looking testing strategies and defining SOPs.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of design experience for both web and mobile
• Experience designing web and mobile applications.
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficient with one or more industry standard prototyping tools: Axure, Principle, Sketch, InDesign
• Demonstrate a good eye for aesthetics, color, typography and design consistencies
• Be proactive and self-motivated, work without direct supervision.
• Create clickable prototypes and make user tests
• Experience working with web-based technologies such as HTML, CSS (SCSS), JQuery, Bootstrap is a plus
