We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on a Team Leader role in our Ankara Esenboğa Airport operation in Turkey.
Role purpose | This role combines front line customer sales duties with management oversight of a team of sales consultants and 1 or more stores. The individual will drive and deliver high customer service levels by taking ownership of customer needs while maximising team potential to sell foreign exchange and related products. This role is required to create an environment that encourages sales while protecting business by ensuring procedures and risk are managed.

Role-specific experience and skills | · Customer centric · A strong track record of delivery in the areas of key responsibility · Understanding of retail sales culture · Process and procedure capabilities · Understanding of risk in a retail and financial services environment · Ability to identify conflict and resolve it constructively · Experience in leading small to medium sized teams, including time and priorities · Excellent command of English and Turkish · Knowledgeable in MS Office applications |

Key accountabilities | · Ensure team is high performing team and consistently applies the sales process, up-sells and cross sells while ensuring an excellent customer experience · Ensure teams adhere to Company and location policy and procedures, including Audit, Risk, Health & Safety and Security requirements; and undertake company training within required timescales · Daily store management including investigation of overs and shorts, minimization of waste and keeping till errors at a minimum · Manage stock levels · Maintain high standards of housekeeping, presentation of stores and staff presentation · Ensure promotional marketing activity is used to best effect and in adherence with Travelex branding and store guidelines · People management including coaching, rostering, team encouragement and motivation, induction, overtime management and costs · Contribute to setting and achieving location KPI’s and sales targets · Track individual store performance, identify reasons for operational under-performance and develop solutions |
