General Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economy or relevant departments,
- Minimum 5 years of work experience preferably in multinational production companies,
- Strong understanding of and experience ERP system implementation,
- Having CPA,
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills including expertise in MS Excel,
- Ability to meet the required deadlines,
- Team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills in Turkish and English
- Dominate Tax legislation and accounting standards
- Excellent organization, administrative (accuracy) and follow-up skills.
- Strong leadership skills
Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for developing financial statements, reports and systems, enabling successful month-end and year-end closure and reporting.
- Manage day to day and month-end accounting activities, through well-reconciled general ledger, sub-ledgers (AP, AR, Fixed Assets), including but not limited to journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, reconciling AP balance with Inter-companies, tax reports, cost reporting and analysis, accounts payable review, fixed asset maintenance, safekeeping, daily & weekly sales posting, weekly payment process, monitor daily financial position.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow & ERP
- Calculation of monthly cost of goods sold, and inventory cost
- Develop mechanisms, policies, and procedures to enhance compliance to the requirements of the finance functions, and accounting standards and regulations.
- Following month-end closing procedures, follow up and check trial balance at the end to ensures internal controls are in use and fully complied with
- Ensure that all financial statements of the company (balance sheet, profit-loss, net working capital, etc.) and tax statements are in compliance with legal obligations by timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax/legal/statistic declarations
- Manage the preparation and posting of receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks
- Ensure and coordinate communication of the company with all domestic and foreign banks and financial institutions,
- Perform bank clearing and book related journal entries for bank postings.
- Preparing financial data requested from banks and other financial institutions
- Managing company’s payment process, preparing and revising daily, weekly and annually cash flow plans (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)
- Perform e-invoice and e-ledger controls and duties.
- Ensure that supplier reconciliations are completed on time
- Checking and approving petty cash, personnel advances and expense lists, reconciliating personnel account
- Prepare the payroll entry to be posted in accounting system.
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
